Book
I’m one third into Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet. And I have mixed feelings about it. Mostly, I’m into it. But it feels like such a commitment, you know?
I’ll keep reading. After all, it came highly recommended. And I can’t start my next book club book this early, anyway.

“Inspiration came from way outside the coffee category in an attempt to ‘stand out’ in a cluttered market. Working closely with the client in creating the Eighthirty™ brand we devised strategy and direction for packaging, café interiors, coffee delivery, web sites and comms.”
Butcher & Butcher ltd is a creatively led independent design company based in Auckland New Zealand. We believe ‘brand’ is the sum of all experiences between business, people, products and services. The role of brand strategy or design is the same — its about getting the interface right between brands and people. Our approach is interdisciplinary, whether it’s spacial design, packaging, or interactive experiences we place design thinking at the center of our business.

Standing in a snowbank after our crazy blizzard yesterday. Later on, I walked through one that was hip deep. Didn’t make it through as I was worried about getting stuck:)
